A fairytale Wedding at Castello di Celsa
Wedding at Castello di Celsa
K & M met in their workplace, as they both work for the same company in Los Angeles. Fast forward 2 years, and this amazing couple decided to tie the knot in Italy. K & M got in touch with us just a few months before the pandemic. Luckily, they were interested in getting married in 2022, so we never postponed their wedding. Although Italy offers many different regions to choose from, the two knew that Tuscany was where they wanted to wed.
Every little girl dreams of finding her prince and getting married in a castle, and K’s dream became a reality. They fell in love with Castello di Celsa, an amazing castle in the Siena countryside. The castle, built with a view of Siena city, is a romantic hotspot. It has been owned by the same family for about four centuries. The peculiarity is that, since 1612, it has often been inherited by the females of the family; from the noble de Vecchi family from Siena to the Florentine Antinori family to the current owners of the Aldobrandini family.
The castle offers stunning gardens, breathtaking views, an elegant chapel, a romantic courtyard, 5 beautiful bedrooms with frescoes in the castle, and an additional 5 bedrooms in the Lemon House, where guests can enjoy their free time around the pool. It’s called the Lemon House because it was used as a winter shelter for lemon trees, which still decorate and fill the Italian garden with scent during spring and summer.
K had a specific idea for the color palette and mise en place. She knew that the colors of the wedding table have a significant impact on the feel and design of their big day. This is why, before choosing the flower decorations, they selected tablecloths and mise en place. They thought it was a perfect color palette for a wedding at Castello di Celsa.
The gardens provide a beautiful backdrop for couple portraits, and there are many romantic photographic opportunities indoors as well.
K & M chose some amazing vendors. Delizia Ricevimenti served delicious canapés during the aperitif and amazing dishes during dinner, along with a Millefoglie cake that was the perfect end to the day. Aqua Photography, Alessia, and Claudia did an amazing job, as seen in the photos below. Ivan Caizza, a super talented videographer, and Flowers Living, responsible for the amazing flower arrangements, were also part of the team. Central House, an audio and lights company, created a romantic atmosphere during dinner. Roberto Palma DJ took care of the party music, Mercury Bar served amazing cocktails during the aperitif and party, and Ele Light provided the nice sofas in the garden.
Thanks to all of them, we’re sure that the wedding guests won’t forget this amazing wedding at Castello di Celsa!
The wedding day started with the arrival of K & M at the castle with the bridesmaids and the bride’s family. They got ready in the two bedrooms with amazing frescoes in the castle. Around 4 pm, the guests arrived by bus and enjoyed a welcome drink before the ceremony. The ceremony took place in the romantic Italian Garden overlooking Siena. Luca from Wedding Celebrants in Italy celebrated the love of this sweet couple, accompanied by the special songs of Firenze Classica musicians.
After the ceremony, guests moved to the garden area for the aperitivo with Tuscan canapés and amazing cocktails. The dinner was planned under the arches, with long tables for all the guests. The lights and colorful flowers created an amazing setting with a Bridgerton-style feel. The cake and the party took place in the castle courtyard, creating the perfect disco atmosphere!
Having a wedding at Castello di Celsa is like living your princess dream. Your wedding venue is much more than just a setting; it’s a place where memories are made.
